Bookkeeping & month-end close · controller-led

Books you can make decisions on, closed by the fifth business day.

BridgeBooks runs the day-to-day finance work for growing businesses and works quietly behind accounting firms as white-label capacity. Every reconciliation is reviewed by an ICAI-qualified finance controller, every close follows a written checklist, and you always know what is done and what is open.

Who we work with

Two kinds of clients. Same standard of work.

Growing businesses

Founders, owners and COOs with 10 to 50 staff

You are about to hire a bookkeeper or staff accountant, or the one you have is stretched. You want numbers you trust every month without managing a finance team.

  • Daily bookkeeping and a dependable month-end close
  • Clean books handed to your CPA or tax agent at year-end
  • A clear monthly pack you can act on
Compare with an in-house hire
Accounting firms

CPA, CA and chartered practices, fractional CFOs, setup agencies

Your clients are growing faster than you can hire. We do the production work under your name so your team can review, advise and file.

  • White-label bookkeeping and reconciliations in your software
  • Tax-ready workpapers for your review and filing
  • Start with one client file, no long-term commitment

A hire gives you one person. BridgeBooks gives you a finance function.

An in-house bookkeeper can be excellent. The risk is that everything depends on them alone: their review, their holidays, their notice period. Here is how the two compare.

ReviewWork is usually checked by nobody until year-end, when your CPA finds the problems.Every close reviewed by an ICAI-qualified finance controller before it reaches you.
Close timingDepends on the person's workload. Many small teams close three weeks after month-end.T+5 business days, written into the service agreement.
ContinuityLeave, sickness or resignation stops the books. Knowledge leaves with the person.Documented procedures for your file, so work carries on without gaps.
Time to startWeeks of recruiting, then onboarding and training.Audit in 24 hours. Onboarding plan agreed in the first call.
BreadthOne person's experience of one or two systems.Cross-system work across QBO, Xero and Zoho, plus e-commerce and payments platforms.
Cost structureSalary plus benefits, payroll taxes, software seats, management time and replacement cost. One fixed monthly fee, scoped to your transaction volume and reviewed as you grow.
Your timeYou manage, review and cover for them. You read a monthly pack and answer a short list of questions.

We are not the cheapest way to get transactions entered. We are the dependable way to get books your CPA, your bank and your board can rely on.

For CPA, CA and chartered accounting firms

Your name on the work. Our capacity behind it.

Good junior and senior bookkeepers are hard to hire in every market we serve. We take on the production work so your team can spend its hours on review, advice and filing, which is where your margin is.

We work in your systemsYour practice software, your file structure, your checklists. We adapt to how your firm already works.

Questions

What people ask before they start

Who actually does the work on my books?

BridgeBooks is founder-led. Krishna Sikchi, ICAI-qualified and a working finance controller, reviews every file and every close. As the practice grows, any team member works to the same written procedures for your file, and the review step does not change.

How is my data protected?

We sign an NDA before any access, and a data processing agreement where your jurisdiction requires one. Access is granted through your software's own user invites with multi-factor authentication, starts read-only, and is removed the day an engagement ends. Your data stays in your systems.

How is pricing set?

A fixed monthly fee based on your transaction volume, number of accounts and entities, and the reporting you need. We quote after the Book Health Audit, when we can see the actual work. We don't bill by the hour, so you won't get surprise invoices.

Do you file tax returns?

No. We prepare clean books and workpapers so your CPA, chartered accountant or registered tax agent can review and file quickly. In Australia we provide bookkeeping only.

Will my clients know you exist? (for firms)

Only if you want them to. White-label work goes out under your firm's name and we never contact your clients directly.

Is there a minimum term?

No long-term lock-in. Monthly engagements run on 30 days' notice, and firms can start with a single client file as a pilot.

What if our books are a mess?

That is common and fixable. The audit tells you how far behind things are, and we quote a fixed-scope cleanup with a deadline before monthly work starts.
